Sound the Trumpet Ministries was birthed through a prophetic word that was spoken over Ron and Melanie Campbell in 1987 in Cape Town, South Africa. At this time the Lord spoke the prophetic mandate for our future in His Kingdom. "The Lord has called you to the nations as a prophet, empowering you with the five fold ministry gift of the Office of a Prophet and you will show forth His glory in those nations that he has given you favor in. (See. Jeremiah 1:5)

In 1993 we came to America in pursuit of the mandate of the Lord, that was spoken over us. Through many difficult circumstances He has overseen our journey and in 1999 we registered Sound the Trumpet Ministries, Inc as a 501 (C) 3 in TEXAS as a vehicle for the Prophetic Ministry. To prepare and equip the teams that will go to all the nations. America will be the spring board for our greater call.

We are a present-truth, revelation based Prophetic ministry with an apostolic mandate from the Lord to:

• Glorify Jesus Christ and edify the Church and extend God's kingdom on earth;
• Serve and build working relationships with local churches and their leaders;
• Partner with and complement other ministries and like-minded organizations;
• Speak prophetically -- sound the trumpet -- concerning biblical moral issues;
• Adhere to biblical principles and Godly conduct in all that we do;
• Carefully steward the resources entrusted to us;
• Stay modest in regards to structure, facilities and programs.
