The church has been devolving for centuries, closing in on itself, becoming less the living body of Christ and more a religious organization. Those who have seen it happening thought it couldn’t be true. And, if it was true, they didn’t know what they could do about it. Others came to believe that’s just what church is. Still others left the formal church. Some started little groups of Christ-followers in their homes. Some went it alone.
Anyway, that’s the bad news.
The good news, no, the SPECTACULAR news, is that God is resurrecting his church!
That’s also the good news about COVID-19.
As churches shut down all over the world and their members shut themselves in their homes, something began to happen that you’ll never hear about in the news.
People began to ask themselves, “What is the church?” and “What is a Christian?” They weren’t asking priests or pastors or elders or deacons. They found themselves alone with God, and they saw that he was smiling.
Has this been happening to you? Have you found yourself talking to him, face to Face, instead of listening from the audience to somebody talking about him? Have you started looking in your Bible to learn more about the God who was waiting for you in your home? If so, you undoubtedly began to discover somebody WONDERFUL, unimaginable, yet somebody you began to see a little more clearly day by day. And it began to change who and what you are.
Millions of people, over the years, have received prophetic words about who God says they are and what God says he’s called them to be and do. And they’ve waited for it to happen, but heard nothing.
This year, everything changed on every continent. A new era began, maybe the final era, I don’t know. And the people God described in all those prophetic words are beginning to emerge.
Are you beginning to realize that you’re finally heading into what God created you to be and do? Are you getting excited, even though you’re not sure why?
You’re getting excited because you’re meeting God, and he’s not the God you thought he was.
Turn off the news! You will never, ever, hear what you need to hear there. All you’ll hear is the world trying to figure out what is happening to it and getting it wrong every time. All that will happen as you continue to feed on the world’s viewpoint is that you’ll be paralyzed by Fear, plagued by Doubt and pulled farther and farther away from God until you can barely hear his voice.
Recognize Who has taken up residence in your home, and grab hold of him. The two of you are setting off together on an amazing adventure.
