Be strong in the Lord

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We’ve lost our ability to be objective. And God has allowed this Coronavirus microorganism to come in and give us a reset, an opportunity to transform and change the way we think, the way we see and understand. We missed the opportunity in 9/11. We just got complacent and comfortable again.

In Matthew 24:4, Jesus said:

At that time deception will run rampant. So beware that you are not fooled! For many will appear on the scene claiming my authority or saying about themselves, “I am God’s Anointed,” and they will lead many astray. You will hear of wars nearby and revolutions on every side, with more rumors of wars to come. Don’t panic or give in to your fears, for the breaking apart of the world’s systems is destined to happen. But it won’t yet be the end; it will still be unfolding. Nations will go to war against each other and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be terrible earthquakes—seismic events of epic proportions, horrible epidemics and famines in place after place. This is how the first contractions and birth pains of the new age will begin! You can expect to be persecuted, even killed; for you will be hated by all the nations because of your love for me.[1]

You need to prepare yourself.

There are two things in you that can’t be seen by the human eye. The first is faith. Hebrews 1:1 says:

Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.

Faith is unseen, yet it has the power to create, to generate, to transform. And without faith, it is impossible to please God.[2]

Despite what happens, you cannot lose your faith. The world has no faith and can only see faith as you demonstrate it.

The second thing that can’t be seen by the human eye is the Holy Spirit. John 14:15-17 says:

Loving me empowers you to obey my commands. And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you will know him intimately, because he will make his home in you and will live inside you.

The world cannot see the Holy Spirit, cannot see faith, unless they are demonstrated through you. God has given us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth, to give us wisdom, counsel and understanding in every single instance of our life.

My encouragement to you is to take this opportunity for a reset. Get back into the things of the Spirit of God.  If you want to overcome the things going on in the world, you need to use the two hidden components of your life. So I encourage you in the name of the Lord: be strong, be faithful, pray, continue serving the Lord and don’t be moved by fear. Fear is False Evidence of things Appearing Real. Faith is the contradiction of fear.

So walk by faith. Walk by the Spirit. Hear what God has to say. And pay attention to what people who have wisdom, knowledge and revelation are telling you. I urge you today to be strong in the Lord. Amen.
