Ezekiel’s revelation

As I was praying this morning, I was reminded of the valley of dry bones. In the Spirit of the Lord, the prophet Ezekiel was set down in the midst of a valley that was full of bones.[1]

And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

And I’m sure that many of you are asking yourselves today, can our economy survive? Can I survive? Can we get back to normal? Can things be okay?

I think we need to pull back a little bit and take perspective. I don’t think we’re going to go back to normal. I hope not. I think we’ll go back to something much better than normal.

Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the world of the Lord.’ Thus says the Lord God to these bones, ‘Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the Lord.

I believe it’s time for us to start developing something new. I spoke before about a time of resetting. I want to encourage you to start using your gifts and start speaking into being the things that God has put into your heart. It’s time for a new creation.

So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them.

The first thing God did was to cause the bones to start shaking, and then the bones came together and formed a new infrastructure. I believe we’re in a time and a phase where God is beginning to create a new infrastructure, specifically in the body of Christ, as well as in the nations.

It’s time for the church to come back to the five-fold ministry, with the apostles and prophets as its foundation. It’s time to move away from the old concept of church and to get to a place where we can start equipping the saints and training them and raising them up to walk in their most holy faith. The time and the season are now.

Then, God told the prophet to prophesy again.

Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, “Thus says the Lord God, ‘Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life. So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceeding great army.

Prophesy into your situation from the four winds that you may be filled with life, that God will raise you to your feet and bring you to a place of faith where you can walk by the Holy Spirit and you do not have to be moved by the signs of the times or the events of the day.

Ezekiel said he didn’t know whether the dry bones could live. I don’t know if the economy can live. I don’t know if business can continue to live. I don’t even know if the church can continue to live. In one day, a virus shut down the economy and the church and everything else.

What I do know is that it is time for us as the saints of the Most High to start stepping into our designed purpose, to start speaking and bringing forth life, declaring the power of the Holy Spirit to create a new infrastructure and bring us into a new season.

Again, I want to encourage you. Do not be afraid. Start speaking the word of the Lord, because God says he watches over his work to perform it.[2] Let life into the bones—your bones, the bones of your business, the bones of industry, the bones of the church.

It’s time for a change. And the change is now.
