There’s little time left

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2265″ img_size=”full”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]God is about to reveal himself as never before. The whole world is going to change, during which time countless men, women and children will give their lives to Jesus—and countless more will decide irrevocably against him.

There will be more temptation than ever before, sexual temptations heading the list. We’ve been weakening our defenses by embracing and indulging in them for years.

Also at the top of the list, growing in frequency and intensity, are the temptations you’ve struggled with most of your life but never overcome. These too are mostly sexual. But you will also be running headlong into temptations at your workplace—motives and opportunities to lie, cheat and steal—as well as temptations to gossip, which will produce devastating consequences.

If you ignore this warning and the warnings you’re beginning to receive from the Holy Spirit, you will not make it. It will happen so fast and so unexpectedly that you won’t have a chance. The Holy Spirit is trying to protect you. He’s warning you through this blog post, and he will warn you before you head out toward the temptations that await you.

“Don’t go.” “Dress differently.” “Change your attitude.” “Stop now!” “Turn back.”

We’re running out of time to deal with habitual sin. And if we don’t get it under our heel, it will destroy us.

Some believe we’ve entered the last move of God before his return. But we’ve thought that before, during the 18th and 19th century “Awakenings” and the Welsh, Azusa Street, Balokole and Jesus People revivals. Some foresee a revival they think might top all the rest put together. Some, unfortunately, see nothing.

It’s time to get serious with God. To step back and take a look at yourself and see if you recognize a Christian. To even sit down with the Holy Spirit and ask him what a Christian is. If you’ve never spent time with him and/or don’t know how, that’s another warning sign, a shout to find out.

You’ll be hearing more words like this, not just from me but from prophets and prophetic people all over the world.

The time is here to stop looking around and start looking up. To break up your day to spend time talking to and listening to God. To get back into Scripture. Anywhere. Just open the book, read a little bit, then stop and listen. Think about what you read. If you don’t get anything out of it, read more, or just sit and wait and listen—for minutes, for hours, day after day—until you do. And know that the Holy Spirit is working to strengthen and preserve you the entire time.

Please don’t just read this, set it aside and slip back into your groove. None of us has a full word about what’s coming. All we know for certain is that we had better have our eyes fixed on him and hold on tight.
